Facebook intergration in template conflicts with Jomsocial

I have a problem with the Facebook login and the Facebook like buttons in articles which is a part of the Musicity template. It conflicts with the Facebook login in Jomsocial.

This is what they wrote in the Jomsocial forum:

The problem was caused by several factors related to the Joomla template that you are using. Firstly, there is a plugin 'Authentication - Facebook' that is supplied by your template developer that has FBC capability and allow users to auto-register. This is the origin of your auto-register problem.

Upon disabling that plugin, we notice that your template still append different FB application ID which overrides JomSocial FB Application ID. Upon closer inspection, there is a feature in your template which integrates FB Likes in content articles.

Disabling this feature solves your FBC problem.

The original problem is that every time I go to Jomsocial on my site, the url: http://www.fotoforalla.se/community Facebook connect automaticly logs me in or it fails and I haven´t clicked on any button, I just go to site and it automaticly tries to log me in with Facebook.

It is ok for me not to have Facebook login in the template but I want the Facebook like and send button in my articles. Does someone know how to fix this conflict?

Isn´t this a problem the developers should look in to? I think it is a pretty serious bug!

I have to agree.

Just tried to fix the facebook integration. But I can get the facebook connect to work and the like button keeps failing. It would be a pitty to have to add another 3rd party plugin just in order to add the functionality.

You can't use two different fb login modules, if you use the JS you need to disable the fb auth plugin in Joomla.
