PHP Fatal error: Class JFactory could not be loaded in

using Joomla 1.7 and Musicity.

I am getting a lot PHp errors and this is the message:

[31-Jan-2012 19:12:42] PHP Fatal error: spl_autoload() [<a href='function.spl-autoload'>function.spl-autoload</a>]: Class JFactory could not be loaded in

What is this and can somebody help to fix it? My visitors are also getting a few Error 500 pages.. had this PHP error above got anything to do with it?

Hi

I've never seen such problem before. Please tell me what PHP version are You using and try maby reinstall joomla. Plese show me Your site too.

site is http://www.madonna.nl
PHP version > 5.2.16
Joomla! 1.7.4 Stable [ Ember ] 24-Jan-2012 14:00 GMT

Recommended version of PHP for Joomla > 1.7 is 5.3.X >> http://www.joomla.org/technical-requirements.html

Hi

It looks to me as a server issue. I've tried to change to one of the default templates and nothing get fixed, so I can tell it's not a template fault. But later I got a 500 error when visiting joomla panel, so it's not a problem from any of the extentions.

Anyway I still had not seen "Fatal error: spl_autoload() [<a href='function.spl-autoload'>function.spl-autoload</a>]: Class JFactory could not be loaded" error with my own eyes, only the 500 error problem.

I had cleared and disabled cache. Please let it run like this for a while and inform if this changes anything.

Still having there Serror errors 500...
I start to believe there's something wrong with the server my site is on...

Try to restore your site on localhost and test if the problems don't come back you will know the source of problems.
