Discovering uninstalled extensions

Hi,

after i do the install of the quick start package 1.7, i see in extension manager, inside the discovery section in the backend, that there are extensions that are not installed. In particular i see the following:

GK Cache Plugin 1.0 25 August 2011 system Site www.gavick.com 10044
parameters Plugin system Site 10043
parameters Plugin system Site 10045
Unread messages Module 1.6.0 Nov 2005 N/A Administrator Joomla! Project 10042

Why is that? I've tried twice to install the quick start package and i got the same result. The site seems to function correctly though.

I can understand what gk cache is, but the others?

Those extensions might not be deleted from old projects. I will inform our developers about this, you don't need to worry about this anymore.

I will just live them there? Can i delete them somehow? And most importantly the gk cache is working properly? I noticed that if you install them, then you can't uninstall them later.

Yes you should leave them there, we will clean our package later. Also don't install them as they might not to work properly, if you want to use GK Cache plugin you should download it from rest files package to install instead.
