gk-top issue - Forces logo and menu down

For some reason the gk-top in the coffee template is forcing my logo down about 30px and it looks as if the 30px is supposed to be layered on the login pop-up module and is only supposed to be 178px high instead of 194px based on the screen cap from the coffe demo I made.

I've have looked at the templates css files to see if I could find some type of difference and I can't seem to find anything different. Is there anything I can do to change the height so my logo is and menu is closer to the top of the page?
