Coffe search module position and social icon module at top of template

Hi

Would like to add a search module to the Coffe template but cant see a search position in the list, the module positions image doesn't seem to show this, can you help?

Also client has asked for social icons at the top of the template, so would like to add just the facebook and twitter icons to the login module position, but doing this invokes the login module login tab, then the social icons are added to the drop down. Would prefer just to have the social icons in this position only. Thought about editing the index file but that's a little different from other template systems in that there are no divs shown in the index file.
