JCE MediaBox Issue

It seems that JCE MediaBox does not play well with this template. I get various errors, even with minimal modules enabled in the quickstart template.
I am using the latest 2.5 installation. Typical errors are in the attached jpg. But are all JCE MediaObject not defined and $GKMenu is not defined.
Only happens when the JCEMediaBox plugin is enabled.
I have been unable to see which scrip affects the operation so bow to those who may know more?? or who can point me to run some tests to find out.

disable anything running JQ on that page.. I love a good 3some but JQ doesn't. You can set mediabox to exclude components as well.. Jreviews hates gavick templates when mediabox is enabled so i just exclude the component.
