Multi language = not working properly

Hi guys,

Im currently trying to make a multi language website in 3 languages (english,dutch,french).
I made all the menu items and articles but for some reason it just isnt working...
Everytime when i activate the system language filter, my main menu dissapears.
When i turn it off i can only acces the english menu, (should be dutch by default)

have a clue what could be wrong here?

Ive followed every step to the letter, but still there seems to be a problem.
I really believe its a small one, but i cant seem to find it.
