Menu Fonts

How do I get the menu fonts to appear as the nice compact one used as the default in the demo sites?
I'm getting horrid large fonts:

Okay, no reply but I worked it out myself. It appears to work if I select a fontsquirrel from their site with a similar typeface, which is miso font 3
