Google Analytics not being saved in Template Manager

I have tried to enter my Google Analytics Code in the Template Manager - but it is not being saved. Everytime I go back after saving - the field is empty.

I also checked the site's source code and the Analytics code is not there.

What needs to be done - appreciate all the help.
