Facebook Connect

I already have a Facebook application which I use with Jomsocial Facebook connect on another site. Can I use the same application for my site which uses Penguin Mail or do I have to make a new FB application?

i'd suggest you try.. we don't give support on 3rd party plugins...

I will try but how is this a third party plugin? Facebook Connect is a part of Penguin Mail for Joomla 1.6.

I have tried now and I had to create a new application.

I created a new FB application but Facebook Connect doesn´t work. When I click "log in with Facebook" it asks me to approve the application and I do that but then a messeage a the top of the screen says:

"Username and password doesn´t match or you don´t have an account yet"

I have pasted the Facebook appltication ID in the template parameters for Penguin Mail but it just won´t work.

Does someone know what can be wrong? Could I have configured my Facebook application wrong?

I forgot to install the plugin "plg.authenticate.facebook" which is in the reset files folder, you download it seperatly from th download section here at Gavick.
