Read More Button to appear in a Custom Module

Ok so I have looked around for an answer to this and have not really found a full answer so im hoping for some help here.

I know that when you use any of the dynamic News Show Pro GK4 modules a nice Read More button is generated by the template. However is there anyway to pull up this nice readmore Styled button in a Custom Module so I can keep the look and feel of my read more buttons like the nice template one and not just have a standard link in my custom modules?

So again what I am after here is a way to reference and bring up the nice Read More buttons that are automatically generated by the dynamic modules and obviously in a custom module dont appear?

Thanks in advance

Shameless bump on this - anyone any tip on how to do this? I know its a not a bug or anything I was just hoping you could mimic the button look and feel even if it was not automatically generated.

Hi

Please open Your site where the Read More button is and choose to see source code. The code You will find for Read More can be use in Custom Module.

Hi there, ok i tried this but maybe its because I didnt explain fully what I wanted to do.

So, I want a readmore in the custom module but I want it to link off to a totally new page - I dont actually want there to be more text after the readmore button in the custom module itself.

I added this to the custom module as you said: <hr id="system-readmore" /> but how do I link this to another page? like a totally new http://www.google.com link for example. Also by adding this it actually does now show anyways?

Hi

This is a system's read more. I meant the actual code from the source of the site (see the image).

Than You can change the href link and add target="_blank" if You need it to open in a new window.

Thanks for explaining this for me - much appreciated. Now I understand how to get the nice css read more style and not confuse it with the system Read more. Thanks
