individual template path and german language files

Hi,

some questions

I want to change the template path name from gk_blackandwhite to an individual name.
if i do so, the breadcrumbs and the frontpage slideshow (Photoslide GK3) doesn't work any more or it works incorrect.


i need instructions where to translate some front- and backend items in the en-GB to german language.
- the relevant com is gk3_photoslide

the german language files for joomla are already installed

All untranslated words can be seen at the template when You set it to "de". Than all You need to do is to add them in any language file. You do not need to search for it.

Changing the name is a customization request as long as some template styles of the modules useing the full path to work correctly. You can seach for them in /html/ folder/

By the way, is it allowed to change the name? Somebody told me just a few minutes ago, it's not. If not I leave it as it is.

yes it's allowed, but you are not allowed to change the header text of the files...

I do not want to change the copyright information in the file heads.

What I wnat to change is the template path to an individual name beacaus my customer asked for this changes. But If I do so the main photslideshow doesn't work any more.

can't assist you no.. you will have to go through all files and change the reference to blackandwhite to whatever you called it..

don't forget the language file..

my suggestion is you search for the templatename in all files, and change every refrences..
