params.ini is unwritable

Hello

How do I change this "The parameter file /templates/gk_blackandwhite/params.ini is unwritable! so that it is writable? I beleive because of this I am not able to access the parameters in the megamenu. I am I correct on this thought.

It comes from your host configuration.
Change permissions using your FTP software or some file manager program available on your host control panel.

params.ini should have 644 permission and you probably have 555.

Thank you have fixed that. Still don't seem to be able to access the megamenu. Also from the help file that came with the down load it says to look for a help file for, "If planning to use Mega Menu, you need to read the user guide, link given in left side description." Can not find this either.

Seem to have another problem as well now. Change the permission in the ftp manager. That is fine. Then go to template editor in says that the file is writeable then when I try and change something and hit apply it changes it back to unwritable. Is this suppose to happen evertime I change something?

i got same problem with unwritable, however it still changes what i change...

for the megamenu i need to know more about what your problem is...

Ok how do I access the mega menu to make changes? I thought that it was through the JA Menu Parameters but when I go there there is no parameters to change. Also in the help file it says there is a help file for the mea menu can not find that either.

if you enable megamenu from the template manager, and add a new menu then you will have extended settings there.
