at least that worked for me!

go to Extentions->plugin manager
then ACTIVATE those
1. system - mootools upgrade
2. JA menu parameters
3. button - GK typography (that is for the articles of course!)

then go and change the rest parameters of the slideshow
attention!
suffix= [space]clear (put a space prior word "clear")
module style= Template style

I hope that will help you all out there!

Drakontas some of what you say is confusing

JA menu parameters - are you using a different menu?
button - what button parameter?

The slideshow parameters are fine for me

Mootools upgrade/downgrade makes no difference

CONFIRMED.

Slideshow did not work until i enabled mootools update on certain installs. Not sure what the conditions were that caused this.

-----------------

IMPORTANT

The quick install has mootools upgrade enabled by default.
When i try the standard install, simply 'switching' the template does not upgrade mootools and therefore the photoslide does not work. Is enabling mootool update a part of the installation process that i (stupidly), missed?

Has anybody got the template to work without:

1) Quick install
2) standard install and mootools update.

?

----------

As for the components he mentioned:

hes using a Joomla Art menu
hes using GK typography editor plugin (the button under editor)
and enabled mootools which i confirm as the solve for my specific problem.

go to Extentions->plugin manager

By default (at least for me) those 3 plugins were disabled.
let me know if that helps.
