I tried experimenting on other templates by copying across the photslide gk3 module info and both the transition effect and text with x/y coords/reduced width do not occur.
I've also looked at the gk_stuff.css I'm guessing there are some other brief hacks around. I also looked at the pdf and i didnt see a few of the properties such as text x/y coords.
I'm not looking for a spoon feed but if anybody sees this while im trying to reverse engineer it and has a general pointer I would really appreciate it.

I found the help file and this:
As we do in all our templates, we created a specific Image
Show type exclusively for Black & White with style embeded
on template css classes and with own engine script.
So I'm now assuming that there isnt really direct support or instructions for applying image show settings from one template to another. I did happen to realise that the overrides also occured for .js files and some other things, I think i could probably hack a solution, its just that I usually do some minor hacks / extensions to your templates and I'd prefer to keep my existing one (which is one i styled off corporate 2) to get and try on this brilliant new photoslide setting.
