The website I am developing does not need the comments/add comments featured at the bottom of articles.
How do I disable this?
I thought jcomments would me in my components list, but it is not. Any thoughts?
Thank you much!

Are you sure you are talking about JComments or it's K2 commenting system?
I think you are talking about the K2 commenting system which you can disable from K2

You want to disable completely the K2 or you just want to disable the K2 comments?

I don't mind if it is still installed for possible use in the future. In the meantime it would not be a tool that would be used so i'm wondering if there is a way to just hide it do it doesn't show on any pages. I have been browsing the K2 dashboard, but without any luck.

Well if you are not going to use it (by the way i do advice the use of K2) you can uninstall the component.
So if you just want to disable comments you can go to K2 Dashboard and on the right side of your screen you will see the button [Parameters]. In Parameters you will find the way to disable comments (Global setting for comments -> disabled )
If you want to disable the JComments you can find this also in Components menu and you can un select all the categories so JComments will not actually work.

I thought that was the way to do it. That is my current status, but the 'Add Comment' thingy is still showing. At the bottom is a small link for Jcomments so somewhere is someway to remove this. Any thoughts?
I appreciate your support dearly, thank you
