Section blog view layout problem

hello sirs,

I have observed that the template doesnt display posts properly in a section >> blog view display

how to reproduce the problem:
a) create a menu item to display a section in blog view with
leading = 1; intro=0, columns=1

the above should show just 1-article per page.

Then add parameters: pagination=auto; pagination results=show

Observation:
The default(home) page of the site shows just 1-article as expected; however, using the displayed pagination at the bottom to navigate other pages (page 2,3,4.... next, previous), each shows 5-articles get displayed- full length(with 4 in two columns). Wherever that setting came from, I dont know coz my initial setting was leading = 1; intro=0, columns=1.

To confirm my doubt, while on pages 2/3/4, I switched templates to the JA Purity / other Joomla's defaults and they each displayed just 1-article. While on the joomla defaults, I used the pagination to navigate other pages and it displays properly. Switching templates back to Black&White, it shows something entirely different: 5-articles.....

In the template settings, I have Show mainbody ON and body position is at Mainbody after component. I tried other options but still the same result. With show mainbody off, nothing gets displayed on the home page. Inm my case the home/default page is a section blog view.

So wherever this Black&White is getting its own setting, please assist to explain, and how to resolve the issue. Please note: I do not have any plugins enabled which could result in this observation.

regards
toks

Hi

Template is using a designed view for this page. If You would like to use a default joomla settings please go to /html/com_content and change the name of a file for a type You have used to show Your content.
