Huge problem with parameters

Hi,

There is something I can't understand.
When I'm trying to change the width of the left or right module positions, nothing changes. All other parameters (body width, fonts...) of the template are working except this dimension parameters.
I was working on a test version of this website previously, but I had no problem.
If someone can help me... it's quite urgent!
