upgrade impossible!

Hello! Trying to update to version 2.5.7 - 2.5.8 impossible! say: JFolder :: create: Could not create directory. in either case, I tried two ways: directly or ftp. Is there any solution?

Probably the problem is connected with the catalog permissions - I recommend to upgrade manually the Joomla! installation through FTP using the package for upgrade 2.5.7 to 2.5.8.

Already got the update, what is the procedure? ftp upload and deposit the zip to unzip where? I thank you to tell me.

If you have downloaded this package: http://joomlacode.org/gf/download/frsre ... ackage.zip then you should unzip it on your computer and then upload it via FTP.

upload content www directory?

You have to upload it to directory with your Joomla! installation (to root directory of your Joomla! instance).

Thanks szludek, was successful, the problem is with the server permissions, finally got the patch and decompress compressed in control panel and update properly.
