problem with register button

Hi,

I am facing a problem with the register button. Although i have deactivated
the module, and although from the language file i have replaced the GK_LOGIN with blank so it wont appear at my page, some users have found a way to register.
I dont know how thew managed it.
What should i do to disaapear and deactivate totally the register option
so nobody cant register?
