A funny index.php.PLC or PLX file

Hi,

I found a funny file in my website running Sporter. It was a index.php.PLX or something that I do not remember. Is this supposed to be there. Now my K2 does not function properly ... I also updated to the Joomla 1.5.22 - these are the only changes that I made on the site. Now I cannot save Items in K2?

Can you help?

This is the error returned by K2 upon publishing a new item ...
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_regex_encoding() in /home/bkocoza/public_html/administrator/components/com_k2/tables/k2item.php on line 75

Oh, I also added the Google Analytics code to the layouts/default.php file ... Which one is destroying my website?

Your error comes form k2 extension so you should ask in k2 forum, about google analytics, if you add code properly it can't destroy your website

anyway, there are a lot of plugins/modules which added google code to your website so maybe try this way.
