Sporter Handheld/iPhone Option

Hello,

I am right now in the middle of setting up sporter for my new site (I am using the quickstart). So when I try to go to my site via my Handheld I am getting the joomla community site and not the Frontpage?

Do I have to make some adjustments?

Ok it is not a done page right now, so it looks a little strange

Also one (ok two) short questions. In the breacrumb, the firt entry is sporter.com, wich I need to change also, where can I change that setting?

I know that is probably a joomla question and not directly related to sporter.... do you have an idea where I can change the favicon that shows in the Browser Tabs?

hi,

to change sporter.com: go to language folder: open en-GB.tpl_gk_sporter.ini, first line you will find what you want to change.

for the favicon: create an favicon.ico (16x16px) and put it in the root-folder of your joomla installation and in the template-folder.

may I ask another (probably stupid) one... I dont want the register option on the Frontpage, users will get the Login directly from us, but should not be able to register themself.

Please look at the template configuration the register button should be disabled from here.

I've checked the site on iPhone and this is Your site but showing the articles set for frontpage. Joomla Comunity is the title for the last article of this kind. Please simply add Your own content and unpublish the one showing.

Hi

Actually you are seeing articles enable on frontpage.
If you want to remove them, disable this articles on frontpage.
Also, you can use "mobile_top" and "mobile-bottom" positions to display modules.

Ah, thanks Ok I am still lerning Joomla swichting from typo3 so I have to retzink some of the handling.

well welcome to the darkside of joomla ... muhahahaha

I have the images being auto resized on the iphone which is not so nice.

How can I fix this please ?
