How to hide mainbody on pages

Mainbody is showing up on pages all of a sudden. Very tacky, cant seem to get rid of it.

have you disabled mainbody from template manager?

The problem is on not on the main page, but the sections.

This is the component layer. If You do not use it You can disable it with display:none in css. But I would suggest to just remove the border:

you will have to publish something in the mainbody, and then just disable it from the template manager...

My case is different.
I am enabling an article to the homepage, more is not appearing.
