Image Slideshow effect like in Cherry Design?

Hi everybody out there in gavick-universe,

i hope you are all doing well.

I jut wanted to ask, if there is a - simple - way to get the hovereffect used in the Slideshow of cherry design into sporter´s slideshow?

The effect I want is that if you hover over the image it gets blacked out and the introtext shows up....

If this affords heavy customization just tell me and close the thread...
