Need some step by step instructions

This is definitely a Gavick newbie question! I want to update my Sporter template from v1.0.0 to v1.0.4 without losing any current content or settings. What is the best way to accomplish that? I've identified all of the changed files for v1.0.1 - v1.0.4. Is the update approach simply a matter of FTPing all new and changed files?

just do a comparison of your xml, css and ini files, see if you can add the changes maually before uploading. Most importanly keep a backup of all files until you know your home free.

also i'd suggest you to move all the changes you've made to the overide.css and enable it in the template manager..

this way all further updates will not override your custom changes.
