GK_Sporter IE alignment problem

Having an issue with Left-Top Column and Left/Left1/Left2 columns in Sporter Template in Internet Explorer, everything ends up at the bottom rather than the top of the column.
Firefox/Mozilla/Opera work fine, but Internet Explorer 8.0.7600 on win7 isn't showing properly.
However, xp version IE 8.0.6001 does show properly, is there a way to fix this?

Just updated to 1.0.2. All modules in any of the left columns end up at the bottom of the page in ie8 rather than the top like they should. Do you need a screenshot? Is there a solution for this? It did this in 1.0.1 as well. Please respond.. Thank you

I have too much customer data to supply that info to you. I'll create a new installation, it does the same thing. Will give you login info to that tomorrow...

Hi Teitbite,
Here's a fresh install of gk-sporter 1.0.4 and fresh install of virtuemart 1.1.4.
It still has same issue in IE8.0.7600, all left column modules end up at bottom of screen rather than at top http://tinyurl.com/2ef456v
Sending you login info by email, thnx.

Semewhere in the text You've added there is no opening or closing of the tag.

Actually, I haven't added anything, that's a fresh install of sporter 1.0.4 and virtuemart 1.1.4. No code alteration at all, I made a new install specifically for you. Try a new install for yourself, you'll see the same thing. Every module, no matter what it is, in the left/left1/left2 columns do that(end up at bottom of the cell).

Hi

Try adding this code on ../css/ie.css

Code: Select all
#gk-left {width: auto!important}

Cheers ;)

Thank you for a temporary alignment fix Seichinha :) it now appears at the top of the cell in ie 7 and 8.

Unfortunately there's another issue as a result, which isn't as big a deal but I'll post a screenshot. The title cell of the modules are a lil odd. The module title widths are varying for some reason, not a big deal functionally speaking, it's more an appearance issue. Thanks again though for your time and help!

Well... so forget the code that i add before and instead add this on ie.css file:

Code: Select all
#gk-left {margin-left:-1px;}

Cheers ;)
