Getting Sporter demo to work on TurnKeyLinux Joomla 1.5

Hi Guys,

I'm trying to get the demo to work in my Turnkey Linux Joomla 1.5 server. I installed all required modules. I can preview the Home page, but nothing else shows. Do you have a step by step guide? Some of the readme files indicate that I need to update MySQL. My mysql skills are limited so the info in the readme was a bit cryptic. Also,the Quickstart is of no help at all.

Quickstart is the easiest way if you are setting up a fresh site, as opposed to applying the template to an existing site.

Log into the control panel for your linux host.

Go to the MySql section and create a new database. Create a new database user, then give the user privileges on the database you created.

Upload all of the quickstart files via ftp or via your file manager.

Type in the url to your website and follow the on-screen instructions. I leave the ftp portion blank, and enter the database name, user and password when prompted.

Delete the installation folder from the server via ftp or your file manager.

Nothing to it.
