IE 9 spacing and Safari browser also...

Need some help PLEASE

Anyway, take a look at this http://www.newtrierfootball.com Using Firefox browser on my computer, spacing under the header logo looks tight and no space between logo and menu tabs.

Now look at same site in IE9 or Safari and there will be a large gap.. maybe 150-200pixels. It appears this way on the Ipad also.

When I use Firebug, it makes reference to gk-wrapper and the height of it is 341px but I can not find this value to change.

Any thoughts or suggestions is appreciated.
