News Show Pro GK4 not animating anymore and shows only 1 article

I installed the template via Quickstart. Evertyhing worked great. Even the animation in the lower "user" modules with the News Show Pro GK4 worked great after I manipulated it to my needs. But somehow today, it stoped animating my 3 articles that are in "Festival Teilnahme". The same with my 2 articles in "videos". Even though I have auto animate on. I can't even navigate to the other articles by pressing the arrow keys in the module anymore. Nothing happens. But the Datasource is set to the category with my 3 articles and they are all published. I know that I played with the animation time today, and also with the animation time in the mainbody image slide show. But even after that, everything worked. After a couple of realoads later, the animation and navigation in the News Show Pro GK4 just stopped. I tried changing every option in News Show Pro GK4 to check what I could have missed. But I can't get the animation back!

Please update News Show Pro GK4 J!1.6 to latest version (1.4)
I think this problem was solved on 1.3 or 1.4 version update.

Now that is funny. Once you said that, I remembered that I updated today in the morning to the latest version 1.4. After that it stopped working. So I just reverted the files via ftp to the News Show Pro GK4 files form the quickstart (v 1.1 or 1.2). And now its working again. So how come that the latest version screws things up, but the one provided in the quickstart works?

Thats somehow disappointing. Where is the error?!

I have just check it and works pretty fine with version 1.4.
Are you sure that all files are well replaced? and keep the right permissions?

Please check if you have "Using JS module" parameter set as "automatic" on "External files" panel.

Unfortunately nothing worked. I just did the whole update process again once via ftp and once via the installation routine in the joomla extension manager. Both ways it didn't work. On ftp I even transfered all folders and it contents separately to make sure that all files are replaced. Nothing. I even set my permissions for the mod_news_pro_gk4 folder to 777. Nothing.

And yes, Use default CSS is OFF, and Using JS module is "AUTOMATIC" on both modules on the frontpage.

I'll leave it with the 1.4 version installed, so that you can check my site that it doesn't work.

Do you mean like the login data that I use to log in? I read it at some joomla forums that sometimes one needs to do that, so that support can look into it. But I've never done it before. Sorry, but I'm a little safety concerned here. Do I really send you MY login data that I use, or should I create a "guest" access account that I delete once you (hopefully) solved it?
And if yes, what permissions / rights should I give?

Ok, I found the mistake / error. but don't know how to fix it. I attached 3 jpeg screenshots from firebug in firefox. With news show v. 1.4 installed I get the script error in

/modules/mod_news_pro_gk4/interface/scripts --> engine.js

When I replace ONLY this script with the news show version that came with the cherrydesign quikstart then no more firebug errors, and the animation and navigation via the arrows in the news show module works just fine.

So now I have version 1.4 installed, but with the script of version 1.2 (or whatever version came with the quickstart).

Any ideas?!

I am having an issue with this module too. I am using the coffee template. The animation works but the articles when clicked dont go anywhere. I have the sample articles up with just 2 of my on so far as I am in the beginning stages of design. I have sent a few comments on this formum in other catagories but with no response. I have used Joomla for many of my other clients but this is a first one here I have used and this is the first time I have used this module. Could some one help. I am using the 1.1 News Show Pro which is the one that came with the template. If you need login I will give a temp one after your response.
