That doesn't have anything with the template.
You might have some addon in your browsers or did you include any plugin?

I don't see any associated facebook links in my browser - but I don't have any social bookmark plugins installed in my browsers.

You have a facebook share pluging installed on the site. Do you have some social share plugin installed in your browser? If you have maybe that's the reason you're seeing the face book junk. Have you tried viewing your site with an alternative browser or machine? You could try an online browser service, to see how your site renders in another browser, if you don't have access to another machine.

Here's a link to one Online IE test if that's no good google for 'online cross browser compatibility test' to find an alternative.

It's not a template issue IMHO.

Sorry I can't be more helpful.

I do see it in the about me (in the bottom) but I can't seem to figure out where it comes from... try disable 3rd party plugins/components to see what it is..

If it's showing in the online browser it's not your browser that's the issue.

I looked at your about me page again and as explodedk says - there is a facebook link at the bottom of the article.

View your page source and at the bottom of the content you will see a div that has an iframe with the facebook like sitting in it.

I guess you will need to track down the extension that calls that iframe to solve your problem.

Code: Select all
<div style="clear:both;"></div><div style="width:;text-align:right;height:70px;"><iframe src="http://www.facebook.com/plugins/like.php?href=http%3A%2F%2Flocalhost%2Ftest2%2Findex.php%2Fit%2Fabout-me&layout=&show_faces=true&width=&action=like&colorscheme=light" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowTransparency="true" style="border:none; overflow:hidden; width: height:px"></iframe></div>

Hi I don't use the quick launch or K2 so my thoughts are that it must be related to one or both of these.

I just installed the quick launch and took a quick look and found this option, which may have something to do with the social link...

Image

That may give you a starting point hopefully.

Edit: The demo doesn't generate an iframe and the social book marks display before the end content comment, unlike on your site. I give up!

After seeing the page source you're obviously not using K2 either, so we can strike that off the list.
