is this for fresh installs only

Since this template is not ready for j1.6 my questions are these:

1. Does K2 work with J1.6?

2. How do you migrate jomsocial under j1.5 to j1.6?

The demo template goes no where for the articles. i have tried a test migration, but did not try the K2 install. since migration requires you to load back in everything when I loaded jomsocial all photos , video , everything but some member info was lost. I searched and havent found any where as to how to make everything show up.

or Did you release this template for j1.6 to be used for fresh installs only??????

after a month of no reply let me say K2 doesnt work with j1.6

Jomsocial can be moved from j15 to j16 just dont buy the tool from ARRA. a waste of $10 and time. do it yourself and saves much time and a few pennies.

I still cant get the template to work from j15 to j16. I will try to reinstall but so far nothiong but errors and no menue items. I know Gavick team said all the templates of late would be J16 ready but the last few templates all are j15 only? hmmmm

Mostly this is for a fresh install only - lol Way too much work to go from j15 to j16. the only good part is i saved all my members. Basicly you have to redo everything. Menus dont line up any more, modules wont show as they all need to be reloaded and recoded. Huge learning curve and will take alot of time so be warned you are in for some work.

i may try a fresh install and import parts of my data base like my membersand redo everything from there. With the amount of time spent this may help speed things up hmmmmm
