Hi

Try to override this file because it looks like it may be broken. And please show me Your site so I'll check if the file is in place.

How do you mean when you say override?

This is my site but it is not much to see yet since i haven´t been able to get started with it because of the language file:

Hi

One look at Your page and I know what's going on :) You have set the language as "pl", joomla is using the symbol system for languages, as: en-GB, pl-PL. But to have pl language You need to install it first. This will create a pl-PL directory in /language folder where to You will need to copy the file en-GB.tpl_gk_gamebox.ini from language version, change it's name to pl-PL.tpl_gk_gamebox.ini and translate it than.

Have I set the language to PL? I have it set to Swedish, sv-SE and i have installed the Swedish language pack. I have also tried to add a language file with the name: sv-SE.tpl_gk_gamebox.ini to Joomla and that didn´t work either.

Hi

Your site still shows "pl" as language:

Code: Select all
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="pl" lang="pl">

please change it in joomla global settings.

Where in the global settings do i change that?

I changed the timezon to Stockholm but that didn´t seem to help.

I have another site also with Joomla 1.6 and Penguinmail with Gavern framework and that one also says that the language is "pl". But the language file works fine:

Hi

Yes You are right. When there is no folder with the language selected for a site than english language is taken as default. Please send me the FTP access. I'll see if the files aren't broken.

Discovered that it says that the language is "pl" on Gavick own demo page:

Hi

Fixed :)

The problem was trivial :)

The name of template language file should be en-GB.tpl_gk_gamebox.ini but was en-GB.tpl_gamebox.ini.

I looked in the zipped pack with the gamebox template which i downloaded from Gavick and in that language folder there are two language files, "en-GB.tpl_gk_gamebox" and "en-GB.tpl_gamebox".

And in the xml file for the template it says that the file "en-GB.tpl_gamebox" is the one that should be installed.

If the right file is "en-GB.tpl_gk_gamebox" than maybe Gavick should change it so that the template uses that file instead if the wrong one?

Yes, you are right.
It's a small mistake :P .
The correct language file is en-GB.tpl_gamebox.ini

This will be corrected on next update.
Thank you for the report.

Cheers ;)
