Hi,

I am using the memovie template. I have set the reCaptcha up on the login page, and added the public/private keys. The reCaptcha is displaying on the login page and work fine BUT I am getting spam users registering and posting spam ALL over my website!

How can I fix this?

Thanks

Why you tell that reCaptcha is not working ? Please try to register in your site by write wrong recaptcha code, you'll get the message 'Wrong reCaptcha', so the problem is not here.

I have no idea but definitely the captcha is working, maybe you have some different way to register in to your site or some auth plugin which allow to register with gmail and any other service.

Where can I see if I have any other ways to register?

On the plug-ins page the only Auth plugins are Joomla, Facebook, GMail and LDAP. The only ones active are Joomla.

Facebook, GMail and LDAP are all disabled.

Hey Bones, did you get the recaptcha in Register popup fixed or came up? I still have this problem and there seem to have a bug in this code. recaptcha only works from the login buttons using the create an account link. But not from the register pop up. let me know how to fix if you did thanks,

Yes. IN both cases, I have to enter my public and private keys which is duplicative.

But you just said on another response to update my version of com_users. I will update and use the new 2.5.1 later and let you know.

thanks,
