Not able to change template

My project run 2.5 and with GK_News.
I want to assign another template to a specific menu item. When I do so (in the absolute correct way), nothing changes. The item I have assigned to that menu, show but with the same template as default.

I have many sites and have tested the method I use in the above mentioned site, with absolute correct function. This is for me proof that I am doing the correct steps.

My problem site: http://www.mittspania.com . If you go to the menu: "Linker" and at the bottom: "Mitt Spania GOLF" , you should end up with an item with the template Publisher.

The project with exact same method is : www.jasol.eu At the bottom menu : "Mitt Spania Golf", I have assigned a default Joomla template and it works well.

Please help me and suggest where to look for the problem I have.

Probably this one view is assigned to two or more menu items and this is causing problem. For example you have two menu items which are with the same type but in different menus and you set template to one but the second still override this settings.

Thanks for the reply bkrztuk . I have a good friend, a former programmer in GK Pro, and he found the problem in a module GK cache.
My problem is solved and I am happy.

I've tried to replicate you case but even when cache is enabled all is working. Of course cache need to be removed to see the effects of new template assignment.
