I just installed the Store Box template on Joomla 2.5 using the Quickstart file.

I then successfully installed Akeeba Backup and Akeeba Tools. However, when I go to access these items I get a 403 error "access forbidden" (see attached screenshot).

I've checked all the permissions, my php.ini file seems in order, folder and file permissions on the server are seemingly correct.

Has anyone else experienced this? Can anyone help? I can't go forward with this project till I know I can backup my work.

Thanks! ;)

Hi,
there is a small misunderstanding, templates, even ours, don't brake any components.
I use those Akeeba products on many sites and I have never saw this problem.

If you would buy a PRO version you would get support from Akeeba, but you're using free versions so you have to use google.

p.s.
Search also here:
1) https://www.akeebabackup.com/support/ak ... up-3x.html
2) https://www.akeebabackup.com/support/admin-tools.html

Lets face the fact, its not possible for us to provide support for not ours extensions.

Ok, did you change something in Joomla ACL ?

Go to User Manager > Options (on the top right) > Permissions > Super User > Are all settings set to allowed?

Global Configuration > Permissions > Super User > Are all settings set to allowed?

Thanks for the info. Of course the template shouldn't affect components, but I typically always install a fresh version of Joomla but this time, since I wanted demo material to populate, I used the quickstart file.

Nevertheless, I discovered that I had outdated versions of those extensions. When I used the most recent versions everything worked properly.
