Site testing

Hi all, We are in the process of developing a website for my company. We are using The World News Quickstart template. We are going to edit it and test it in-house to get the site we want.
However, when it is complete the site will be hosted elsewhere. Are there any issues I should be aware of now.

For example:
When it is finished, can we burn it to a disk and give it to our hosting company?
Will all the links still be intact on their server?
Is there any security issues that need to be sorted before then?
I assume we need to create a new admin and delete the standard admin/demo?

It all depends on what modules/components did You use. But the main joomla idea is to move the site anywhere. I assume that host server got the same settings as "home" one. So there should be no problem as long as You use the components/modules wrote by someone following joomla idea.
