Problem in mail(Could not instantiate mail function.)

Hello to everyone,

first of all many thanks to Gavick team for their great job.. I have a a life time membership and also purchased the GK-storebox template. I setup all the details with the quickstart file, now i'm trying to solve some issues.
1. When i try to fill the contact form, it shows that doesn't work. It shows the message
( Could not instantiate mail function.)

2. I can't find in Virtuemart how can the system inform me when a new order is checked out.. I think that an email with the customers details etc must be sent to me...

Can you please help me in these issues..

I also noticed that everytime i need mail function isn't working. So after i check out an order nothing is being sent to me or to the customer.

Both Your questions are about mail, so please check mail settings in Your joomla panel. Try also with SMTP settings. Not all server allow using mail() function by scripts.

Thank you for your answer and i have fixed it... Now it is working correct... I have some other questions to make and hope that you can solve my issues...

1. It shows a message telling to make a folder for invoices. I made this folder but it shows the same message.
2. How the invoices being created? Is there any plugin in order to add it into Virtuemart?
3. I want to have only wholesellers buyers in my store and that means that only me can accept people that register in the site. how can i ensure that?

And something else... When someone place his order, how can i receive an email with his order? Did the Virtuemart has this opinion to select? Because i try with a virtual order and notification has been sent to my personal email as the buyer but as the owner of the shop have not notify for the order.... Can you please help me?

I'm not the best person to ask this questions. You should look for answers in VM forum, but I try:

1. Folder with invoices should be created outside joomla root folder and should have permissions 755 (or even higher)
2. While creating invoices a default joomla pdf library is used, so not need for additional stuff
3. This I'm not sure. You need to configure in joomla user settings to confirm registration of users (at least I think so).

Sending order should be done automaticaly, but You need to confirm this with VM developers.
