Recent quickstart

HI. i've downloaded the recently quickstart templates and tried the local instalattion with xampp as usual.

I've downloaded about 3 or 4 quickstart templates and i cant finish the instalattion with any one of them.
If hangs rigth after step 6. The circle keeps circuling forever...

Do i have to update my local Xampp? To what version?

I think the reason may be simply becuase of too low value for database connection set in php.ini file. Please try to rise it and let me know if it helped.

Thanks, but where do i need to change exactly?
I know thas in php.ini. i changed in "Resource Limits" the max_execution_time = 60, restarted xampp
but its still equal..

Try rise this value to 120 or more. Also some users who are experiencing the same issue said that using a different browser helped.

Hi. No good. i tried with a different browser and it ended the instalattion, thats right, but i tried two quickstart templates and it all ended with a lot of errors...

Those are not errors but notices. Please simply lover the level of errors showing in php.ini or in joomla panel. This messages are showing becuase of a different PHP version used on Your server and the one extensions was written with.

Ok. I´ll try that. Just to know, what version of Xampp do you advise to work with your quickstart templates?
