can't install boutique quickstart

hi, i am having a real difficulty trying to install the boutique quickstart package. i have followed all instructions in the guide (uploaded the files, created a database with all privileges etc), yet i am continually getting stuck at step 4 - the database configuration.

i can successfully install storebox, but having a problem with boutique... please help

Ok. Than it could be a problem couple of users were reporting already with J3.0. Tell me exactly how this problem looks like. Are You redirected to the beginning of installation or just got a message that it cannot connect with database.

i'm currently installing it with 2.5.9 and it just looks like the page is loading. when i try to click "next" to move onto step 5, a window pops up telling me "Process in progress. Please Wait". I believe it is connecting with the database though.
