My site is loading very slop. I've reduced image sizes already. Is it because my slideshow has 14 images it rotates? Will it be faster if I reduce the number of slides?

The site is www.nextinvestments.com.

Saw somewhere else that it could be the GK Stock modules. It's the images that seem to load slowly though. :)

Hi

Finance is properly the most fast template that we built till now.
Your site reach 1.8 MB of cache and most come from image on PhotoSlide and from articles content.
On PhotoSlide group configuration, try decreasing image quality (not lower from 75%).
On articles, try using less weight image (for example, you have on "Investing in Currency ETFs" news an image with 235KB. If you don't want to change this image, enable thumbnails on News Show Pro module parameters.

Cheers ;)

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll try these suggestions. I'm new at joomla so It's these kind of things that trip me up.

Thanks again. :)
