Having some difficulties to install the Fashion template

Hi,

I am having some difficulties to install the template gk_fashion. It keeps giving missing XML errors during the install, so I end up with a mangled site.

I have searched around for the solution, but so far I cannot match the requirements to my problem... it says on the net this is usually the wrong version file for my Joomla version, its not sufficiently uncompressed before the install, or its a folder permissions issue (or an incomplete installer).

The error message is as follows:

JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find Joomla XML setup file


My system information is:

PHP Version 5.3.23
Web Server Apache
WebServer to PHP Interface cgi-fcgi
Joomla! Version Joomla! 3.0.3 Stable [ Ember ] 04-February-2013 14:00 GMT
Joomla! Platform Version Joomla Platform 12.2.0 Stable [ Neil Armstrong ] 21-September-2012 00:00 GMT


Is there some easy work around to this? I have looked at the manual install option but your help file is not very useful in this regard?

Hi,
you can't install Quickstart package via Joomla extension manager becasue quickstart has joomla installation inside. Here you have info how install quickstart package http://www.gavick.com/documentation/joo ... oomla-1-6/
