More user friendly URL - MAGAZINE Template

I work my way straight into the MAGAZINE template set that shipped with K2.
What struck me that the paths are very long in the top browser bar and give you actually unnecessary, SEO-unfriendly information.

Example:
home/praxis/k2-items/k2-categories/k2-tags/radiowatch2/item/196-pfadkontrolle.html

Do I really need such as "k2 categories", "k2 items" or "k2-day"?

If this information is not necessary, how can I remove it from the URL?

Does anyone have an idea?

Update your K2 to the latest version, on 8 April was released K2 version 2.6.6, a bug fix update which address redirect issues with the newly introduced Advanced SEF options, plus some minor performance improvements.

This should fix all, if not let me know... I will try to suggest you a extra component to control all URL.

By the way, generally URL are generated by Joomla & K2 - not a template.

I updated K2 v2.6.6. - but unfortunately nothing has changed.
Every new categorie or article shows the not user friendly URLs like this:

home/k2-items/k2-categories/k2-tags/radioberatung/coaching

Is there any other switch I have to use?

Hmm, did you checked all new features of k2 2.6.6?
(1) Search answer on K2 Community Forum, sorry but they know they product better than I.
(2) Use sh404SEF to get full control of URL links:
- K2 now fully supports sh404SEF natively.
- Includes 2 parameters to further extend sh404SEF's URL re-writing.
