Hello,

I have a problem on one of my website. I am using the finance template, I added many components and I am wondering why my site is so slow to load.

Additional components are Joomulus Tag Clouds, RSS Feeds News, SH 404 (url rewritting). Any ideas ?

The website is visible here : http://www.chappuishalder.com/introduction-to-ch-cie.html, this is a preproduction url (the index.html is hidding the rest of the site)

Please help

Regards

it´s not so slow for me:

web developer tools say:
Dokumente (1 datei) 10 KB (35 KB unkomprimiert)
Grafiken (23 dateien) 177 KB
Objekte (0 dateien)
Skripte (8 dateien) 43 KB (127 KB unkomprimiert)
Stylesheets (10 dateien)13 KB (54 KB unkomprimiert)
Gesamt 243 KB (392 KB unkomprimiert)
that´s ok for a jommla based site!

but there are very nice tools for optimazion outthere:
http://www.web-optimizer.us
or JA compress will be coming soon.

But maybe it´s a slow webserver.

nice greetings

Hi- I'm using the finance template as well and my site is loading very slow. Can I ask how you got around only having 4 stocks on the module? I think you have 8. Right now I have 12 and need to use 3 tabs for them. Did you increase the height of the module?

Thanks :)

if you have a lot of GK Stock modules then your page can loads slowly, because these modules make requests to external Google server - it takse some time. You can set longer time for cache in these modules.

Can you tell me how this person has more than 4 stock quotes on 1 tab?

you can put more than 4 stocks, but only selected 4 stocks will appear on main stocks graph.
