Hi Guys new to GavickPro have been a member of Joomlart for a couple of years but really liked the look of the new News template.

Joined this morning and uploaded the news template to replace a previous template on a domain I own http://www.vivaasiamagazine.com

I straight away noticed a few problems. One was that I cannot edit any of the K2 items or add any new ones and I also notice that there is no Clear Cache button at the top of the admin page and I get this message in red when I go to the control panel "Model class cpanelModelCpanel not found in file"

I also noticed I could not edit the Weather Module.

I am desperate to get this working so I can work on it over the weekend which I have completely cleared so we can get this up for Monday when the office reopens.

I have deleted it and uploaded it twice now but still nothing changes.

Would really appreciate it if one of the moderators could get in touch so I can give them the login details so they can have a look at what is wrong.

Could you attach some screen with error ? I've checked front-end and it looks properly. What is your PHP version ? Did you try to re-install K2 ?

Thanks for the response. I have sent you a PM so you can have a look at that backend as this is where all the problems are and am not sure how to show you the issues in a screenshot.

Hope you can point me in the right direction.

Hi

This is not a problem at all :) Clear cache button is an additional plugin, You can find couple of them in http://extensions.joomla.org/ . Such button is not a standard function in joomla.

Some modules are blocked becasue someone has not logged out from them propperly, so joomla is still keeping an information in database that someone is currently editing it's settings. All You need to do is to select such item and than choose "Check-in" button above. Joomla will check if someone is in this configuration currently and if not will unblock it.

K2 problem You have mentiones can be serious, but I had no issue adding an article. Can You please tell me exactly what are You doing so I'll be able to see this error ?

Thanks I downgraded the K2 version and now it works fine.

Hi

Are You sure that simple reinstalling for the latest K2 version is not working ? There is nothing in code which should have such effect like the errors You've shown.

Hi know apparently it is a problem with K2 there are a bunch of postings about the same problem on the K2 website. The general advice is to downgrade the K2 to the previous edition which fixes the problem straight away.

Yes in fact the same say K2 support forum - try to downgrade K2 to fix this issue.

Hi

Ok. I can see it now too, sorry I just not came across this K2 version incompatibility issue before. Sorry for insisting on using the latest version. I will behave from now :)
