Problem with game news templeate

Hi, i have a problem with this templeate ..
what happens is .. when trying to install this templeate in the third part when creating databases not create the configuration file ... and then returns to the previous screen and give back to click install .. and the same thing happens and it hangs on that part

help me plz

Hi

This is a regular joomla installation with just data about installed modules and content, which means that most probably Your server is not allowing to create files by scripts. Please consult with Your host provider in this case.

I have the same issue and Siteground confirms everything is fine with Hosting, permissiones, database and even requirements for Joomla 3.0 to work. I have installed other quickstart package on other addon domain on same server and, it's working fine. But this game news Joomla 3.0 quickstart package has given me problems in this same installation step (3rd). It just hangs and returns the that very same page, no error given.

I've just tried but had no issue to install it. Anyway I know a problem when Firefox is with joomla installator. Please try using a different browser.

I was using Chrome as Browser. I tried using File manager to upload quickstart, extract and install. I tried using filezilla, deleting all files and extracting locally to FTP them. I even had Siteground try to perform themselves and finally they said the package must have problems, for they created 2 additional folders with 2 new Joomla installs on my server, one 2.5, on 3.0 and those they installed downloading from Joomla, worked fine.

The problem is the 3.0 quickstart. Did you try that one? Finally, I deleted all and installed the Joomla 2.5 quickstart with no problems at all. 3.0 was impossible to install, for it looped in installation 3rd step.

I've tried one more time just to be sure I've used the lates version of J3 quickstart, but it installed without any problems. Please send me an ftp and I'll try installing it myself.
