I have purchased your template and am having trouble installing it

I have followed your instructions to install the quickstart template
copied files up
created database
went through the installation
deleted the installation directory

now - http://joomla.evident.co.uk/administrator works and i can see all the template elements
however the site does not run

http://joomla.evident.co.uk/ - 404 not found error
http://joomla.evident.co.uk/index.php - 500 internal error

Also we can't see this file to edit:
/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/virtuemart.cfg.php

Please help otherwise we are unable to use your template

Kind Regards

Please attach here your server error log because blank page don't give us any more informations. What is your PHP version ? Your server pass all Joomla! installation requirements ?

PS - i am pretty sure it is a problem with the virtuemart install
1) I don't have the virtuemart.cfg.php to edit
2) I can access everything via the backend EXCEPT virtuemart wich gives a 500 error

Where can i get a copy of the cfg.php file?

PHP version looks correctly, for location of logs you need to ask your service provider. Could you try to run firstly clean Joomla from joomla.org ?

Yes - a straight Joomla install using the joomla script works fine - it is only the install using the quickstart template which is falling over

Can you now install clean template on this clean Joomla! installation ? I suspect that problem is caused by some 3rd party extension.

That is what we have already done.
we emptied the directory completely and copied in your files and ran through the installation
The only 3rd party extensions are the ones in your template

Did you install template on clean Joomla! via extension manager ? It is working ? I'm asking because probably some extension from package is causing problem and on clean Joomla! we can eliminate this problems.

No - as i said - we copied the quickstart files into an empty directory and created a new MYSql database

PS we have now purchased the developer license and have a support ticket open
