some how the registration form that came with the tamplate package is not working well while trying to register a new user

It looks like reCaptcha problems - please configure reCaptcha system like it is described here >> http://www.gavick.com/magazine/how-to-use-recaptcha-in-joomla-25.html

Hi

Our register is for regular joomla user registration. I can see You are using K2 users instead. Please simply replace our register module with K2 one.
