 Hi I just asked my service provider if they had any explaination why my site may have dissappeared and they sent this -
"Hi Elliott,

The error was caused by your php.ini file.
We've now fixed that for you.

The new error you're seeing now is a code syntax error with your website which you or your website developer will need to fix. It is -
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '<' in /home/polomag1/public_html/templates/gk_myfolio/index.php on line 94

"
any help would be appreciated as I am an amatuer and have no idea what that means!!!

Did you make any custom changes in template code or modify any of source files ? Please try to check server error logs if there are more informations. What version of PHP you use ?

All this informations you should get from your service provider. Usually logs you can find in /log directory but firstly log need to be enabled. Please contact with your hosting to give you more details about problem because I suspect it is not related with our product.

Hi BKRZTUK this is the response I got from host

Hi Elliott,

We use php 5.3.10 and higher.

The error message quite clearly says SYNTAX error, which means there is definitely an issue with the code.

"

So what do I do now? as my site is still off line eeeeekkkk!!!!

The main problem is that your ISP don't give you any details they said only 'error' but where ? What type of syntax error ? Could you provide any details ? Because I can also say it was ISP error but it is impossible to help you without any additional informations.

I just got this reply from them -

That's all that PHP tells us i'm afraid that it's a syntax error within your code (/home/polomag1/public_html/templates/gk_myfolio/index.php on line 94)

-

So what do I do Now??

Yes the latest version was used.
This was a while back thou I remember the guy that installed called Mike spoke with you guys about it and you gave the the latest version just before you released it. But this error has only just happenned a few days ago. before a few days ago everything was fine. I dont know what changed I only had uploaded a few new stories as per normal. Should I go to my back up and somehow just revert to before this happenned is this possible or there an easier way? considering I have no clue how to revert to a back up.

If you don't modify any template files it is impossible that part of template code cause problems. Simply the error exist from installation or it is caused by external extensions or hosting.
