In the administration panel I can't access the settings tab of the JComments plugin. I tried reinstalling it but the problem persists. Is this a known problem or is it my configuration?

I haven't heard this issue before, you'd better contact JComments team to get better support on this. Also if you saw any error messages please post them here so people can get clues to help you.
