Problem with install Quickstart Partyfreak on XAMPP

Downloaded the new Party Freak Quickstart documents.
Want to experiment with it local so I installed XAMPP..
Eveything went OK, the installation.
Removed the installation folder and then this....

What's wrong?

This messages comes from Joomla code, you need to disable 'strict' mode in your PHP configuration.

I have the same problem installing templates on XAMPP. I can install on the web server no problems but would like to work offline first before I upload it all this time. I get a similar looking screen as posted below.

'I'm not really into PHP etc... do you know where I can change it?' - was there ever an answer posted to this last question, likewise, I don't know how to disable 'strict' mode...

Please look at XAMP/WAMP documentation, in taskabar icon you probably can find some context menu which allows you to configure your PHP parser and please find display_errors option.
